Bookkeeping
We usually prefer to work with you and train you on how to do your own books so you can save money and gain more understanding of your finances as you carry out the work yourself.
Though we do take on bookkeeping contracts if your organisation needs it. Our rate for this is £25 per hour
We can also provide training in using GnuCash, a Free Software for bookkeeping to keep your finances straightforward and in order.
Accounts
We can prepare your accounts to the financial standards required by law (mainly FRS102/1A). We do not provide a full audit service, but can do a lay audit if the co-op would find this helpful.
Preparing accounts is highly variable in costs, depending on how well prepared your books are. Most of our recent work has cost clients less than £300. We have a minimum charge of £192.50 which includes up to seven hours of work. After that we charge only for the extra time spent supporting you and preparing accounts at a rate of £27.50 per hour. This should ensure you should always be getting good value for the work done.
We recommend you give us at least two months before your filing deadline, to make sure we can complete in good time.
We can also train you on understanding or creating accounts.
Payroll
We can also help with your payroll, making sure that:
- you are up to date with the revenue
- you’re paying employees correctly whether on standard pay, sick pay, parental leave, and more
- your reports and payments to HMRC are correct
We can process or help with your year end. We can work from one to an unlimited number of employees, using software including Sage Payroll, Quickbooks, and Basic Tools. Prices start from £25
Filling tax return
We can fill your tax return for you using a specialised software. Do contact us for a quote if you need this.
